We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Account Executive (m/w/d) to drive new business and expand AppZen’s presence across large enterprise organizations in Germany and the broader DACH region.
This role focuses on landing new enterprise customers and building long-term strategic relationships with senior finance leaders. You will navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and engage with executives at the highest levels within global organizations.
You will own the full sales cycle from strategic prospecting through contract negotiation and closing, while working closely with finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

This role focuses on landing new enterprise customers and building long-term strategic relationships with senior finance leaders. You will navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and engage with executives at the highest levels within global organizations.
You will own the full sales cycle from strategic prospecting through contract negotiation and closing, while working closely with finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Own and develop a strategic enterprise territory across Germany/DACH
- Drive net-new business and expand AppZen’s footprint within large, complex organizations
- Build and execute detailed account plans across multiple business units and buying centers
- Maintain a strong pipeline focused on high-value enterprise opportunities
- Manage long sales cycles (6–12+ months) with large deal sizes
- Lead value-based, executive-level conversations with CFOs, Finance Directors, and Procurement leaders
- Navigate complex procurement processes and global buying committees
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product, and Leadership
- Partner with regional system integrators, resellers, and strategic partners
Requirements:
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a focus on new business acquisition
- Proven success selling into large, complex enterprise organizations (e.g., DAX, Fortune 1000 equivalents)
- Track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing multi-stakeholder deals
- Experience engaging with C-level and senior finance stakeholders
- Strong account planning and territory management capabilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: €98,000 – €120,000
- Variable (commission): €98,000 – €120,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): €196,000 – €240,000
- Equity participation (subject to plan terms)
