Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the butchery section, preparing and cutting a variety of meats and fish according to the resort's high standards.
• Ensure that all meat and fish products are inspected for quality upon delivery, adhering to proper storage techniques to maintain freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the butchery and preparation areas, following strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and sous chefs to ensure efficient kitchen operations and to respond to special requests or menu changes.
• Participate in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and notifying superiors of necessary orders.
• Contribute to menu development by providing suggestions based on seasonal availability and quality of ingredients.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a butcher in a high-end hotel, luxury resort, or fine dining restaurant.

• Educational background in culinary arts preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
