What you will need to do:
Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
- Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft cloud solutions including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device enrollment, policy enforcement, compliance, and application deployment across global users.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud workloads for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Conduct regular health checks, patching, and configuration reviews to ensure reliability and compliance with corporate standards.
Project Execution & Collaboration
- Participate in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects in collaboration with the IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams.
- Contribute to the migration and modernization of workloads to the Microsoft cloud.
- Act as the intermediate point of contact between the Service Desk and System/Network teams for escalation, troubleshooting, and service restoration.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and manage Microsoft Defender suite for endpoint, identity, and cloud security.
- Support identity and access management policies, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access rules within Entra ID.
- Work closely with the Cybersecurity team to ensure that infrastructure aligns with company security baselines, patch management policies, and compliance requirements.
Administration & Support
- Perform routine administration, including backup, restore, monitoring, and reporting of cloud and hybrid systems.
- Provide second-level technical support to regional offices and end-users for infrastructure-related issues.
- Maintain accurate configuration documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate new Microsoft cloud services and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, security, and user experience.
- Stay current with Microsoft technologies, certifications, and best practices.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation, and other available tools.
What you will need to have:
- A University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least five (5) years’ experience in working with Windows systems administration in large environments; if you have international exposure and/or experience working with geographically dispersed teams, it would be gladly welcomed
- Strong knowledge in Active Directory and Office 365
- Experience in Microsoft Azure
- Security and network awareness
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Availability to travel to international site project locations
- Experience within the Construction sector will be considered an asset
- Microsoft Certifications or equivalent will be considered an asset
