We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Logistics Manager to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in our Jeddah Office. The l Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the logistics activities globally. He / She will supervise the Logistics team across region, will develop standards, will propose budgets, will manage and improve processes to succeed supply chain efficiency and sustainability.

What you will need to do:
- Cascades down into his organization the company’s vision and strategies of his field area.
- Propose on a yearly basis for Management review and approval a strategic roadmap with Stores main objectives, initiatives, optimization and action plan.
- Assigns responsibilities within the Logistic team as approved with his Management and as he sees fit to ensure the best possible delivery of his responsibilities.
- Analyses the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes or carriers.
- Collaborates with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as Procurement, Tendering, Stores, RSF’s or Project Management.
- Creates policies or procedures for logistics activities
- Trains Procurement & Logistics staff in AGNV IMS logistics procedures.
- Establishes or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems and implement specific requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
- Negotiates with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
- Plans or implements improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or internal customer issues when escalated to the highest level.
- Supervises the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers at Site or Regional Level.
- Analyses all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
- Develops risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
- Ensures carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Negotiates transportation rates and/or services.
- Participates in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
- Trains Procurement department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
- Reviews regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities.
- Promotes and maintains stores staff job results by recruiting, selecting, scheduling, assigning and mentoring employees.
- Maintains standards and ensures compliance with of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Ensures compliance with respective corporate policies and procedures and local laws and regulations.
- Complies with Corporate Governance rules, company’s systems, -policies and procedures.
