We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our Regional Office in New Cairo, Egypt.

What you will need to do:

  • Handle project tender Cost Estimating and technical evaluation, for all mechanical works HVAC, Building Automation system, Plumbing and Fire protection systems.
  • Provide economic studies and preliminary estimates for mechanical works.
  •  Review all tender documents along with project design drawings and specifications,
  • Raise RFI’s to the designer and client for any missing or conflict information may require for achieving the bridging design concept based on American standard requirement.
  • Applied American standards ASHREA / SMACNA / NEC / IEEE / NFPA / ASME / API to all contract projects.
  • Review tender design cooling / heat Load of HVAC system.
  • Review and calculate Duct & Pipe Sizing, and sizing of HVAC Equipment.
  • Prepare all purchases requisitions and follow procurement process required for all tenders and awarded projects based on design requirement.
  • Preparing quantities take off and BOQ for all mechanical materials and equipment.
  • Review and prepare mechanical technical data submittal for all materials, equipment, systems, and coordinate with suppliers to cover all missing information which may require clarification, to get client approval.
  • Maintains cost database for future tender and cost evaluation.
  • Prepare all contract documents for mechanical subcontractor, such as mechanical scope of work and detailed bill of materials completes.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical power engineering.
  • Minimum ten (10) to twelve (15) years of experience in tender estimation cost, and technical office engineering.
  • Experience in working with reputable contractors in the same role.
  • Very good in English.
  • Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, HAP program, ELITE software.
  • Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office.
