Job Overview
- Review and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents for construction activities.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and Technical Queries (TQs).
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, and Planning teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure piping works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, ASME, API, and other applicable international codes and standards.
- Monitor engineering revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available at the construction site.
- Provide technical support during piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and pre-commissioning activities.
- Review Material Take-Offs (MTOs), piping material specifications, and material requirements, and support procurement activities as required.
- Coordinate with the Document Control team to maintain accurate engineering records, document revisions, and controlled copies of drawings.
- Participate in constructability reviews and provide technical solutions to improve construction efficiency and project execution.
- Assist in the preparation and review of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Attend technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required.
