Job Overview
- Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, design calculations, and engineering documents for construction activities.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), and other technical documents.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, Planning, and Survey teams to resolve structural and technical issues.
- Ensure structural works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, approved drawings, applicable international codes, and project requirements.
- Review structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, equipment foundations, platforms, supports, and related structural works.
- Monitor engineering revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available for construction.
- Provide technical support during structural steel fabrication and erection, concrete works, foundations, grouting, installation, and related construction activities.
- Review Material Take-Offs (MTOs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material specifications, and technical requirements, and support procurement activities.
- Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings and coordinate with subcontractors and fabricators to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Participate in constructability reviews and provide practical technical solutions to support efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with the Document Control team to maintain accurate engineering records, drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing as-built drawings, final documentation, and project handover dossiers.
- Attend technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Support the Construction and QA/QC teams in resolving site technical issues, non-conformances, and design-related queries.
