Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for an ECN Coordinator.

Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented ECN Coordinator to manage the accurate and timely implementation of engineering changes. This role is critical for ensuring products are built to the latest specifications and customer schedules are met. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) according to schedule.
  • Evaluate ECN content, analyze engineering drawings and bills of material, and verify the feasibility of changes.
  • Lead cross-functional ECN meetings with engineering, assembly, suppliers, and affiliates.
  • Determine the optimal procurement method for new or changed parts (in-house, external assembly, or external procurement).
  • Assist with the quoting process and recommend implementation dates based on inventory levels, urgency, and feasibility.
  • Create and manage new material master data within the SAP system.
  • Utilize Smartsheet and MS Office Suite to document and communicate all ECN-related changes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • Experiences:
    • 3-4 years of technical experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
    • Hands-on mechanical knowledge is required.
    • Proven experience with bills of material, MRP/ERP systems, and the metric system (DIN standards a plus).
  • Other:
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP and Smartsheet is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience).
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package included with this direct placement position.

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Work arrangement: On-site. 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
