Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Maintenance Manager

Overview:
The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership to ensure a safe, efficient, and highly reliable maintenance operation within a corrugated packaging facility. This role is critical for driving continuous improvement, managing plant equipment, and leading the maintenance department to achieve excellence in safety, uptime, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all corporate, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide overall leadership, development, and supervision for the maintenance department.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term maintenance strategies to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Manage and analyze maintenance KPIs to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead plant shutdowns, start-ups, and the repair of machinery to ensure production equipment remains operational.
  • Negotiate with Labor Union representatives on contract issues using win-win strategies.
  • Serve on the Plant Leadership Team to align on organizational goals and standards.
  • Ensure the maintenance staff is adequately trained, motivated, and utilizing the most effective maintenance practices and technologies.

Requirements:
Education

  • A 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Experiences

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a supervisory/management role is required.
  • Experience must be within a corrugated box (cardboard) production facility.
  • Specific experience with a BHS Corrugator is highly ideal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), JDE, and a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Experience with PLC/DCS systems is a plus.

Other

  • All candidates must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or require no sponsorship now or in the future (No H1 visas).
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary

  • $140,000 - $160,000 Per Year
