About the Role

Aspora is building a scoring-led, globally differentiated lending platform for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) across key geographies including the UAE, UK, US and other international markets. At the core of this platform is the Aspora Score, a proprietary, multi-dimensional credit scoring framework designed to capture a user’s financial life across India, their country of residence, and their engagement with Aspora’s ecosystem.

This role goes beyond model building and is responsible for defining Aspora’s credit philosophy by translating data into decisions across the entire customer lifecycle. The role plays a foundational part in determining lending eligibility, risk appetite, collections strategy, and responsible growth of credit exposure through upsell and cross-sell. It requires deep expertise in credit risk, policy design, and analytics, along with hands-on execution and close collaboration with engineering, product, data and business teams to take scoring from concept to production at scale.

This includes credit bureaus (India and international), banking and transaction data, employment and income verification sources and alternative or behavioral datasets.

  • Define data requirements, schemas, refresh cycles and quality checks to support reliable credit analytics.

  • Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure robust pipelines, high availability, low-latency scoring, and continuous monitoring of data and model health.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and build Aspora’s scoring and decisioning platform.
