Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient warehousing, handling, and dispatching of materials at the DPS logistics base. This role ensures that purchase orders, goods transfers, and in-transit materials are accurately matched against supplier and end-user documentation. The Warehouse Operator minimizes the risk of lost parcels and guarantees that orders are delivered to the final site with the correct quantity and quality. Additionally, the role involves identifying any non-conformities related to materials or storage conditions and ensuring timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and dispatch materials in line with operational requirements.
• Record goods receipts promptly to meet supplier invoicing terms.
• Track manifests to reduce lost-in-transit incidents.
• Store chemicals in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain storage areas and warehousing tools in optimal condition.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, marine and land logistics teams, accounts payable, transit and procurement teams, and end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or logistics and transport.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in oil and gas or logistics.
• Knowledge of storage and stock management procedures.
• Proficiency in SAP MM and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driving license.
