Job Overview

The position was mainly established for the purpose of supporting the Talent Acquisition Team. In general, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for company's long-term goals. The incumbent is required under limited supervision and direction, to perform a variety of responsible and complex administrative duties relating to recruitment and some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRMS program, employee relations, classification, organization, development, executive administration and employment; provides information and assistance to Group employees regarding human resources activities, processes, policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the role and key attributes required;
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks);
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System;
  • Plans interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person/ virtual interviews;
  • Prepares the appropriate job ads and posts them to Group’s internal and external channels;
  • Prepare Job offers and maintain communication with candidates regarding queries;
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events;
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department;
  • Maintains talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs;
  • Ensures all required documentation is well received by new hired personnel;
  • Assist team managers with the onboarding process;
  • Follow up and ensure effective onboarding and adjustment of the new hires to the Group;
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including coordinating internal evaluations and administering employee surveys;

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Coordinator or Consultant;
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for technical and hands-on roles such as operators, welders, technicians, or engineers;
  • University Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline;
  • A Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources will be considered an asset;
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language;
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office required;
  • Experience of working with HRMS systems is to be considered as extra skills;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
