Process Designer 

Location: Whitehaven 
Staff / Contract (Inside IR35)

Project Description:

The project requires the following at a high level:

• 🏗️   Experience of working within a highly regulated industry, preferably within the nuclear industry.
• 💥   Experience delivering safe, fit-for-purpose, fully integrated and operable design solutions that meet product requirements. 
• ⚛️  Experience producing design deliverables such as product requirements specifications, technical reports, calculations, technical drawings and layouts, installation method statements, risk assessments and design substantiation. 
• 🔄   Ability to liaise with stakeholders across a wide range of specialist areas and at all levels from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• 📝  Peer review/checking of reports, drawings (proposal & detail drawings) and supporting calculations. 

Role Description:

• 📝To produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawings, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality
• 👥 Work within a multi-discipline design team
• 🔑 Key deliverables will include:
  • 📃 Process description
  • 🔌 Process schematics
  • ⚠️ Basis of process safety
  • 👥To be primarily site based on Sellafield site to provide support to projects that are in the execution phase.
