PMIS Expert

We are seeking an experienced PMIS Expert / Project Controls, Planning & MIS Manager to lead the planning, monitoring, and digital project management initiatives for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves establishing robust project controls, managing schedules, analysing delays, and implementing PMIS solutions aligned with business and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6
- Define project baselines and track progress against planned milestones
- Identify critical paths, risks, and delays in project timelines
Project Controls & Monitoring
- Implement project control systems and procedures
- Monitor cost, time, and resource performance
- Prepare variance analysis and corrective action plans
Delay Analysis & Claims
- Analyse project delays and prepare delay claims and extension of time (EOT) documentation
- Develop claim schedules and support dispute resolution processes
PMIS Implementation & Management
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and MIS reports for real-time project tracking
- Ensure integration of web-based tools for centralized project management
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare executive-level dashboards and periodic MIS reports
- Standardize reporting formats across projects
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Translate client requirements into digital workflows and PMIS solutions
Conduct presentations and provide insights to leadership.
Preferred Skills
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools.
- Experience with web-based project management tools and dashboards.
- Knowledge of project documentation standards and scheduling best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and MIS systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into digital/technical solutions.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- High attention to detail and result-oriented mind-set.
- Experience in PMIS/EDMS implementation.
- Exposure to digital transformation in construction projects.
- Knowledge of BIM integration (optional but desirable).
