About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant General Counsel, Commercial and Product to join our growing legal team. This position will be a strategic partner to Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations by drafting and negotiating complex commercial deals and providing proactive legal guidance throughout the product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, solution-oriented legal support and counsel for business and engineering teams.
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on a variety of agreements for product sales, master purchase agreements, development and manufacturing engagements, supply chain, and technology licenses.
- Counsel on contract terms, compliance matters, product development issues, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop, refine, and scale the department’s processes, policies, and infrastructure to support the company’s growth.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent).
- Active membership in at least one US state bar.
- 10+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm and/or in-house experience with semiconductor or hardware companies. Experience working with or for large AI hyperscale companies is a plus.
- Expertise in technology transactions, intellectual property law, and software licensing.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and senior leaders on technical and business terms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent drafting and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to break down complex legal jargon into easy-to-understand and practical advice.

The base salary range is $220,000.00–250,000.00 depending on years of experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and equity.
