Full-Stack Developer

The ASUS Robotics & AI Center is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our global research and development team. This role is central to designing and building responsive, high-performance web applications that support our robotics and AI technologies.

We are looking for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in front-end and back-end development, a strong grasp of system architecture, and a commitment to writing maintainable, scalable code. The ideal candidate will bring a user-first mindset, enthusiasm for working across the stack, and a passion for delivering intuitive, data-driven interfaces that bridge advanced technologies with real-world users.

• Design and implement customer-facing web applications that efficiently visualize large datasets.
• Work with other stakeholders to reduce latency in visualizations of real-time data.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-commented source code.
• Work in a cross-functional team that takes ownership of the full software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with other teams to make optimal software architecture design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with modern front-end and back-end development practices.
• Hands-on experience with developing web applications. Familiarity with scientific, data, or interactive visualizations (including game-style interfaces) is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS) for deploying dynamic web applications.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, design patterns, source control management, and test automation.
• Expertise in Next.js and React. Knowledge of Python, C++, and/or Go is a plus.
• Experience with UI design using tools like Figma or similar is a plus.
