About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CAS Associate to join our Client Accounting Services department on a full-time, salaried basis in our Tupelo office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to our clients, ensuring their financial and business needs are met with precision and efficiency. Senior CAS Associate - Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily, monthly and quarterly accounting operations for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific financial needs and provide tailored recommendations and solutions.
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial ledgers to ensure accuracy and reliability of records.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior team members, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to help clients achieve their business goals.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with external auditors, tax professionals, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure best practices are implemented.


Senior CAS Associate - Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA or relevant certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on client accounting services being a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in training and supervising staff with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
