IVV Engineer for IRIS²

We are looking for a IVV Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Arganda del Rey (Madrid), Spain.
As part of the SpaceRISE consortium, our client plays a central role in the IRIS² programme, leading the design, development and implementation of the ground segment, including the infrastructure needed to manage the constellation and connect it with terrestrial networks. The company is also responsible for service operations, such as defining the service catalogue, establishing procedures and developing delivery models for member states.
In addition, our client leads the Low LEO segment, supporting innovative missions that strengthen the European space ecosystem. To meet its growing responsibilities, the company is progressively building a dedicated IRIS² team, currently composed of more than 40 professionals.
This role requires relocation and on-site presence at the Satellite Control Centre in Arganda del Rey (Madrid).
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Plan, define and execute Integration, Verification and Validation (IVV) activities for ground segment systems;
Develop and maintain IVV plans, procedures and test cases in line with project requirements and standards;
Perform system integration activities, including hardware and software components, ensuring proper functionality and interoperability;
Execute verification and validation tests, analyse results and ensure compliance with technical specifications;
Support troubleshooting, anomaly investigation and resolution during integration and testing phases;
Collaborate with system, software and hardware engineering teams to ensure end-to-end system performance;
Ensure compliance with ESA/EC project requirements and ECSS standards throughout IVV activities;
Contribute to test documentation, reporting and technical reviews;
Support the preparation and execution of system-level validation campaigns;
Identify risks related to integration and testing activities and propose mitigation strategies;
Contribute to continuous improvement of IVV processes, tools and methodologies.
