Full-time Not ApplicableJob Overview
We are looking for a student (m/f/diverse) starting in February/March to write a thesis in the area of research literature review, reliability evaluation, and storage guidelines for stepper motors. As part of your thesis, we offer you an attractive opportunity to ideally combine and expand your theoretical knowledge with different aspects of practical experience. You will work closely with our team and gain insights into exciting projects and processes.
The following activities will be the main focus:
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review on reliability engineering, ageing processes, and storage guidelines for electromechanical components
- Propose a framework for reliability evaluation and recommendations for future improvements
- Identify reliability test methods (temperature, humidity, vibration, and other stress factors)
- Define storage specification guidelines for stepper motors, including suitable environmental conditions and ageing considerations
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for stepper motors to identify critical failure points
- Collect and evaluate experimental or historical reliability data and perform data analysis to derive insights
