Job Overview

As a Digital Services Assistant, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our digital department. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from digital marketing and content creation to website management and product development. This is a hands-on position that requires a blend of creative, technical, and organizational skills. You will work closely with the development team and other stakeholders to bring new digital products and services to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing & Content:
    • Implement and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO strategies, social media content, and email marketing.
    • Write, edit, and publish engaging blog posts and articles that are optimized for search engines and our target audience.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute content calendars.
  • Website Management:
    • Manage and maintain the company's websites, ensuring they are up-to-date, secure, and user-friendly.
    • Monitor website performance and analytics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues.
  • Product Development & Management:
    • Assist in the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and post-launch analysis.
    • Draft and document product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
    • Create and manage product prototypes and wireframes.
    • Collaborate with the development team, setting clear development targets and schedules.
    • Ensure project milestones are met and follow through on all development tasks.
  • Technical Support & Graphics:
    • Possess basic programming knowledge to understand and assist with code-related tasks.
    • Manage our websites on the WordPress platform, including theme and plugin management.
    • Utilize graphics design skills to create visual assets for social media, blogs, and other digital platforms.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a digital services, marketing, or product-related role.
    • Proven experience working directly with a development team.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and social media.
    • Proficiency in website management and a deep understanding of the WordPress platform.
    • Basic knowledge of programming concepts and an ability to write and interpret simple code.
    • Familiarity with product ownership methodologies, including prototyping and requirements gathering.
    • Experience with graphics design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Workmode: Remote but Occasional Office Visits

Benefits

Salary: N200,000 - 300,000
