Avant Tech is recruiting on behalf of a top-tier law firm seeking two Administrative Managers to support its Los Angeles offices (Downtown and Century City). This role offers the opportunity to lead a large, dynamic team in a high-profile legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily administrative operations across multiple offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego)
  • Directly supervise 7–10 reports and 25+ support staff, including secretaries and assistants
  • Oversee outsourced office services, reception, and facilities
  • Manage onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations for staff
  • Drive initiatives in recruiting, training, and professional development
  • Coordinate office events, community outreach, and monitor budgets
  • Partner with firmwide leadership and stakeholders
  • Travel monthly to regional offices

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in legal operations/administrative management
  • At least 5 years of team leadership experience in a law firm environment (Big Law preferred)
  • Strong experience managing legal secretaries and professional staff
  • Skilled in onboarding, coaching, and performance management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
