The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, financial planning, and compliance with statutory regulations. The role provides strategic financial guidance, monitors cash flow, manages budgets, and supports business decisions with financial insights. The Finance Manager also leads the finance team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and integrity in all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare and oversee the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Develop financial models to support strategic decisions and business growth initiatives.
2. Accounting & Reporting
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare management reports and present financial results to senior management.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders for financing needs.
- Ensure optimal fund utilization and manage corporate banking relationships.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance policies.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Oversee statutory requirements, including tax filings, BIR compliance, and regulatory reporting.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and performance management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency in finance operations.
- Ensure proper documentation, control, and audit trail for all financial transactions.
6. Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Review contracts, agreements, and business proposals for financial implications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA license preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, corporate finance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience with ability to manage and develop a finance team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work onsite in Makati.
Benefits
