Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team in preparing and serving an exquisite menu that showcases the flavors of Balinese cuisine.
  • Design and implement seasonal menus while maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, food costs, and labor costs to maximize profitability.
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the kitchen team and other departments.
  • Engage with guests to understand their preferences and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of learning and culinary excellence.
  • Respond to any guest inquiries or challenges related to dining, ensuring satisfaction and swift resolutions.

Requirements

  • At least to 10 to 15 years experience In culinary fields
  • High knowledge in Indonesian foods
  • At least 2 successful jobs of 2 years period as CDC to show stability
  • Restaurant experience is a plus
  • Hotel experience is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
