Robotics Systems Engineer
fulltime_permanent mid_levelJob Overview
At Azumuta, we are building the execution platform for the factory of the future.
Factories today rely heavily on human operators to assemble products, perform inspections, and execute complex workflows. Over the coming decade, that reality will change. Robots and humanoids will increasingly participate in these workflows alongside humans.
Our vision is that robots, humanoids, and humans execute work through the same orchestration platform.
We are looking for a Robotics Systems Engineer to help explore and build that future.
In this role you will work directly with the CTO and operate as part of Azumuta’s robotics exploration track. Your mission is to experiment with real robotic systems, integrate them with the Azumuta platform, and help us understand how robots can execute real shop-floor work.
This role is not about robotics research or simulation.
It is about making robots perform real tasks in real environments.
🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:
Build and run robotics experiments exploring how robots and humanoids can execute structured manufacturing workflows
Integrate robotic systems with the Azumuta platform so they can consume instructions, execute tasks, and report execution data
Work with robot hardware, sensors, cameras, and peripherals to build working prototypes
Work directly with real robots and humanoid platforms, experimenting with real assembly and shop-floor tasks rather than purely simulated environments
Help define how robotic systems integrate with the Azumuta platform and shape the architecture that enables robots to participate in structured workflows
Experiment with perception and vision systems to validate and monitor physical execution steps
Develop experimental software that connects robots, AI models, and the Azumuta platform
Run experiments both in our robotics lab and in collaboration with selected customers
Document findings and help translate successful experiments into future product capabilities
Create demos, technical content, and prototypes that showcase the future of robotic shop-floor execution
