About this role
The Data Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytical models to generate insights from clinical, epidemiological, and digital innovation data in the healthcare field.
The role will actively contribute to collaborative projects between the provider and public entities (hospitals, foundations, regional health systems) aimed at driving innovation, efficiency, and evidence generation within the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore opportunities for analytical innovation through the use of generative AI, NLP, and automation applied to process and reporting improvements.
- Design and execute analyses of structured and unstructured data from health innovation projects, clinical registries, and public sources.
- Collaborate with other involved departments to transform data into actionable evidence that supports strategic decision-making.
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and visualization tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making in digital health projects.
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and impact assessment methodologies for projects with public entities.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability.
- Support the preparation of reports and result summaries for medical, technical, or institutional teams.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, RWE projects, or collaborations with hospitals or public entities.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and analytical tools (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Power BI, etc.).
- Knowledge of clinical data environments and standards (FHIR, CDISC, EDCs, etc.).
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
- High level of English (C1 or above).
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CROs.
- Knowledge of healthcare impact assessment or cost-effectiveness methodologies.
- Familiarity with NLP techniques and AI models applied to clinical data analysis.
- Experience working with research foundations or public health systems.
