Project Title: Project Manager for Small Catalogue Acquisition (SCA) deals

REPORTING LINE:

Direct reporting line: GMO (or GM for regions without GMO, e.g., SEA, LATAM)

Dotted reporting line: VP SCA 

MISSION 

The India & SEA Local SCA Project Manager will be responsible for managing all catalogue acquisition processes within [country / region], ensuring efficient execution of transactions from pricing to deal closing & integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage end-to-end catalogue acquisition processes in Asia
  • Oversee and prioritize the deal pipeline in collaboration with local teams - assessing deal eligibility and attractivity
  • Analyze past catalogue performance, model future cash flows and determine target acquisition price
  • Negotiate key business and financial terms of the transactions in collaboration with the Catalogue Acquisition Lawyer and the local team (non-binding agreements, asset purchase agreements) 
  • Onboard and manage key stakeholders internal and stakeholder as the deal / transaction may require
  • Prepare post-merger integration kick-off meetings, anticipating potential challenges and engaging relevant expert teams early in the process

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors and /or Master's degree in Business law with combined expertise in Intellectual Property and M&A
  • 5 to 7 years of experience within law firms and/or as in-house counsel, with a proven track record of IP/content rights-related transactions 
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with appetence for corporate law and transactional dynamics 
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders 
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) require

  • Strong inclination for corporate law and transactional dynamics 
  • International work / education with experience of working in multi-country setup
