Office Coordinator
Full-time Not ApplicableJob Overview
Location: Liverpool
Department: People/HR
Contract Terms: Full time, Permanent
Role Description
Are you looking for a fresh challenge and new responsibilities, working with a great team who value ideas, initiative, and progress? Due to an internal move, we’re looking for an organised, proactive Office Coordinator to join our Liverpool office (of around 100 people). You’ll be working closely with the Liverpool and London teams, and the London office manager. The role is based in Liverpool, with at least four days a week in the office and occasional trips to London.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and likes being at the centre of a busy, collaborative office. You will play a key role supporting day-to-day office life, not just in the Liverpool office, but across the Publishing division. You will be helping with all things office-related, from team engagement, to facilities, supplies, travel coordination, building access, supplier management and everything in between. The role will be part of the People/HR team, but you will have a lot of autonomy, and the chance to make a real difference to how the office feels.
What you’ll be doing:
Acting as the ‘go to person’ for the Liverpool office, handling ad-hoc tasks, queries, requests and general business needs
Making sure the office is well stocked, well organised and ready for the team each day
Being a first point of contact for external queries
Managing external suppliers regarding the office
Organising routine and emergency maintenance work
Maintaining and organising Health & Safety measures within the workplace
Regular checks of office equipment and supplies and placing of any office related orders
Managing access control to the business liaising with building management as necessary
Supporting IT equipment needs and helping to troubleshoot with the central IT team
Welcoming external guests and helping with preparation for meetings (supplies and technicalities)
Organising travel and transfers for employees
Agenda management of meetings as and when required
Supporting organising internal and external events
Organising onboarding for new employees, working with managers on the schedule and linking with the central team to ensure equipment is ready
Maintaining internal employee information including around the office and on our online portal, including writing and distributing the company monthly newsletter
Working with the central team for global compliance reporting
Contributing to making Sentric a great place to work, including engagement and CSR initiatives
Aligning initiatives with our London office where possible, to ensure a consistent experience for employees across both locations
