Data Platform Engineer - 6 Months Contract

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data platforms that support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for data ingestion.
• Design and optimize data storage solutions for efficient querying and reporting.
• Implement data governance and quality frameworks to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Documentation of data models, workflows, and technical specifications

Requirements

•Skills required:

-Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake platform internals and best practices
-Proven experience designing and implementing
-Terraform modules for Snowflake and cloud resources
-Familiarity with Git-based CI/CD workflows and automated infrastructure testing
-Experience with secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, GCP Secret Manager)
-Deep knowledge of terraform
-Comfort with devops / jira apps
