Sports Content Manager (Remote - UK)

Are you a true sports fan, with an interest in content? Then you might be our perfect candidate. We are looking for a Content Manager to contribute sports content to a variety of websites.

Better Collective is a leading sports betting media group that aims to improve the sports betting experience of punters and players. We produce outstanding sports and betting content in a transparent and responsible way so that those who visit our sites can make informed decisions.

THE ROLE
As a Content Manager, your key objectives will be the writing, editing and optimisation of high-class sports content.

On a daily basis, you will contribute to a variety of sporting blogs and websites, on different topics. Articles may reference betting aspects, but they will not be primarily betting in nature. The content needs to be timely and cover current talking points. 

We believe that great SEO content isn’t content that features the most keywords, but is the content that performs the best in organic search. That starts with an aspiration to create the best content for the informational needs of our visitors. This might include crafting stories and providing statistical commentary on popular betting markets. We’re not interested in creating digital landfill; we want to create content that achieves fantastic reach.

• AS OUR CONTENT WRITER YOU WILL

• Write informative and engaging sports and betting related content for a variety of different websites

• Primary write the content yourself, and lean on AI in a QA/ delivery supporting role

• Work closely with the team to ensure the content is optimised for search engines

• Understand what timely news topics and narratives will appear to particular clubs or sport audiences

• Be goal oriented and work in a team that hits dedicated KPIs and user metrics
