SR Project Manager

Do you want to contribute to providing a key service to sports websites around the world? We are looking for a Project Manager to drive delivery, project management and agile processes on one of Better Collective’s newest and exciting initiatives. 

About the role 

As a Project Manager between 3 different teams across a single product. This includes data ingestion, new market expansion, and feature development. You will join a newly established cross-functional team that works across different borders globally and act as the delivery connection point between several stakeholders. 

As a delivery manager, your main role is to act as the execution of alongside the product teams to deliver the best possible technical solutions alongside a team of Development, DevOps and QA. Your role is to align, unblock, and facilitate the processes and requirements for the teams and business units you’re assigned to. 

Your main responsibilities 

● Act as a facilitator for all conversations, meetings and requirements descriptions for all conversations between the product teams or other stakeholders who are involved in creating the team’s output. (This can include new products, new features, bug fixes, integrations, infrastructure updates, etc.) 

● Oversee and manage the Planning, Refinement, Daily, Review, Demo meetings for your assigned teams. 

● Responsible for informing and coordinating software deployment or releases.

● Responsible for making sure that the team’s backlog is well defined, estimated, and includes enough data to meet the metrics set by the product and delivery team. 

● Act the the main single point of contact between the Product Team and the Tech team to manage productive collaboration and discuss realistic expectations. 

● Communicate with the Delivery Chapter as a whole and work on establishing better communication, processes, and methods of operations. 

● Work with the product teams to mix, match, and update the product's roadmaps as development happens. 

● Address and resolve any delivery issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
