Fullstack Engineer

Are you experienced and skilled in PHP and/or JavaScript / TypeScript and ready to grow your career? We are looking for a Medior and Senior Engineer to join our experienced and skilled Engineering Team of 50+ members.

You will be joining the Paid Media Engineering Team in Nis, Serbia, to work together with other Fullstack Engineers, Devops, QAs, PMs who are located mostly in Serbia, Nis, but also in Poland, UK, Denmark, Bulgaria and Romania.

You will be onboarded to our rich Tech Stack and SDLC, and mentored by experienced senior colleagues.

We develop web applications and backend services to support Paid Media business operations, using mostly PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, Symfony, Laravel, different ORMs and databases, AWS, CloudFlare.

We work in Scrum (2-week sprints), with all roles included, having regular refinements, plannings, sprint reviews, retrospectives and dailies.

We are heavily using AI tools in our SDLC - Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code…

Job responsibilities

• Deliver solutions that are well-engineered, scalable, maintainable and testable

• Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions

Minimum qualifications

• 3+ years experience in minimum 3 of the following:

  • Strong OOP

  • PHP (Symfony, Laravel or similar framework), 

  • NodeJS & TypeScript (NestJS, React, Angular or similar)

  • ORMs, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), SQL

  • Frontend general knowledge; JavaScript (ECMA 6 and newer), HTML / CSS / SCSS, responsive design and PageSpeed optimizations, mobile-first design approach, build tools for CSS and JS/TS

  • Git or similar

• Strong analytical skills, ability to learn quickly, communicate and work collaboratively in a team environment

Good to have

• Passionate about producing clean, maintainable, scalable and testable code

• Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with popular AI tools and agentic development

• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum development

• Experience with AWS Services

• Experience with mentorship

• 5+ years of experience either in frontend or backend software development
