🎯 Role Overview
We’re looking for an Experiential Marketing & Activations Specialist to bring the Birdman brand to life through unforgettable experiences, events, and activations. You’ll also bring strong analytical, tech-savvy, and process-oriented thinking to manage and track hundreds of activations through our Birdies program at scale — building the structure and visibility that make creativity repeatable. You’ll lead all event execution, develop our Birdies ambassador program, and oversee merchandising and trade assets (booths, swag, PR kits, etc.) for Mexico and the U.S.
You will report to the Brand Marketing Manager – Mexico, with a dotted line to the U.S. Brand Marketing Manager, operating from HQ with a global footprint. This position calls for a resourceful, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and combines creativity with operational discipline.

📌 Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute brand activations, events, and trade shows in Mexico and the U.S.
- Lead and scale the Birdies ambassador program, inspiring and managing field teams and activators.
- Oversee sourcing and production of branded materials: merchandise, uniforms, PR kits, displays, trade booths, and event setups.
- Manage procurement processes: requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, cost comparisons, purchase orders, and approvals.
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient, and on-brand execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Managers, Social, and Operations to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Measure KPI and ROI of each activation and report results and learnings.
- Support U.S. events and launches, ensuring global consistency and local relevance.

Requirements
🚀 Must-Have Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in experiential marketing, brand activations, or event production, ideally within CPG, wellness, lifestyle, or food/beverage brands.
- Proven success in executing large-scale activations, events, or trade shows, from concept to post-event ROI analysis.
- Background in top BTL or 360° agencies or brand-side experience leading experiential or trade marketing initiatives.
- Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail, able to translate brand positioning into premium, on-brand experiences.
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills, with a proven track record of achieving extraordinary results with limited budgets.
- Procurement and purchasing expertise, including RFQs/RFPs, cost comparisons, vendor evaluation, and budget tracking.
- Charisma and natural leadership, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams, ambassadors, and agencies without formal authority.
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset, able to structure, track, and optimize hundreds of activations simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy, proficient in digital collaboration tools (Sheets, Asana, Notion, Airtable, or similar).
- Ability to combine creativity with operational discipline — turning ideas into scalable, measurable programs.
- High flexibility to travel frequently (national and international) and to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Fluent English (C1) and native Spanish, required for daily collaboration with U.S. and HQ teams.
- Based in Guadalajara (HQ) or willing to relocate.

- Experience in wedding, social, or premium event production, with strong creative and logistical capabilities.
- Exposure to global or regional brand environments, collaborating across multiple markets.
- Experience producing or sourcing merch, trade booths, uniforms, PR kits, or packaging.
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (requisitions, approvals, budget control).
- Experience in field or ambassador programs similar to Birdies.
- Background in fitness, wellness, or sustainable consumer brands.
