Job Overview

About the role

As an Anaplan Integration Consultant within our growing Anaplan squad, you will bridge the gap between business planning and technical integration. As our customers’ IT landscapes evolve—spanning ERP systems, data lakes, cloud platforms, and strict security requirements—you will ensure that integrations are never a blocker for successful project delivery.

In this role, you will design, validate, and advise on integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems such as SAP, cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks), and ETL/iPaaS tooling. Working closely with solution architects, model builders, customer IT teams, and business stakeholders, you will translate supply chain planning needs into scalable, secure, and reliable integration flows.

This position combines integration and modelbuilding responsibilities. You will develop straightforward integrations (API calls, JDBC scripts, proofs of concept) while also serving as a technical advisor during presales conversations, discovery workshops, and architectural decisionmaking. The role intentionally balances handson integration work with core modelbuilding tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client supply chain planners and stakeholders to understand planning challenges and capture functional requirements during workshops.

  • Translate business and supply chain planning requirements into integration‑ready technical options, data flows, and corresponding Anaplan modules and dashboards—together with the project lead and solution architect.

  • Serve as the technical liaison between planning teams, model builders, and customer IT (ERP, Data Engineering, Security, CyberSec).

  • Lead or co‑lead integration discovery sessions, gathering system requirements and recommending architecture patterns.

  • Design, build, advise, and test integrations between Anaplan and ERP systems, data platforms, and cloud connectors.

  • Build simple integration components yourself, such as API/Postman calls, JDBC queries, and lightweight ETL or batch scripts.

  • Validate and challenge integrations built by customer IT, ensuring alignment with best practices.

  • Support end‑to‑end testing, including data validation, field mappings, and refresh cadence design.

  • Represent integration expertise during pre‑sales, addressing IT‑related questions and strengthening solution feasibility.

  • Contribute to practice assets, including templates, best practices, checklists, and reusable patterns.
