As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in financial operations excellence,, business modeling, management reporting and strategic decision support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive process automation, capture, present and analyze financial data, support management reporting, and enhance decision making to support Blueground’s global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review financial processes and develop process automations across financial operations, reporting and planning functions
• Build dashboards and reports that facilitate understanding and decision-making
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing financial performance data 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their financial information 
• Ensure availabilty and accuracy of data inputs to Blueground’s periodic management reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insights to support decision-making.
• Provide in-depth insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in operational finance / FP&A, data analysis, or operations excellence,  (experience in a high-growth company is a plus).
• Demonstrable track record in automating processes via building bespoke tools and / or implementing thrid party software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in google sheets / docs, MS excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools (experience with BI tools is a plus).
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Reliability and can-do personality that is excited about getting things done
