Junior Accountant

Blys, a leading company in the Internet industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team. With our innovative platform, we provide on-demand wellness services to customers across Australia, New Zealand, the US and the UK. As a Junior Accountant at Blys, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and collaborating with various teams to support the company's growth and success.

Please note that this is a full-time role based in our office in Kathmandu. The work time is from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the payroll process for employees across multiple countries.
• Help prepare monthly management reports and assist in financial year-end closing.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audit preparations.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support to team members on financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in an IT or offshore company is preferred.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Quickbooks, etc.) and Google Sheets.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
