Job Overview
The Commercial Sales Estimators at Bone Dry play a pivotal role in partnership with our sales representatives in the Cincinnati and Dayton area. Your analytical estimating expertise combined with your sales skills to prepare compelling proposals, estimate project costs, and close deals with our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sell and Estimate Commercial Roofing Jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managers
- Write picking list, order materials, arrange for permits
- Make sure customers are aware of our referral programs
- Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of business
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the following installation types: EPDM, TPO, and PVC membrane roofing.
- It is preferred that the candidate is familiar with modified, shingle roofing, and metal standing seam roofing.
- The candidate should be able to read drawings and spec books, or be willing to learn quickly in order to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposals.
- The candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The candidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional level.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a background check and Pre-employment Drug Screen
- Must be able to climb ladder safely, access various roof types (flat, low-slope, steep/inclined)
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Construction/roofing industry experience preferred
- 2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales)
- Military service is a plus

- Compensation range of $75k -$110k commensurate with experience
