Retail Store - Key Holder

Position Summary

As a Full-Time Key Holder, you'll be a core part of the store leadership team. In addition to providing exceptional customer service and sharing the Born Primitive mission, you’ll take ownership of daily operations, open and close the store, and serve as a leader on the floor. You’ll support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in driving performance, training team members, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Support store leadership in opening/closing the store and managing shift operations
• Inspire and coach sales associates, helping them meet goals and live the brand values
• Maintain high visual standards and ensure operational procedures are followed
• Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a solution-focused attitude
• Take initiative during slower times to maintain store appearance and drive business
• Foster a positive, energetic, and collaborative team culture

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently when needed
• Passion for fitness, service, and the Born Primitive lifestyle
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Comfortable handling opening/closing responsibilities and shift leadership

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable with a physically active, fast-paced retail environment
