Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary/Objective:

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in creating an engaging and inspiring in-store experience for every customer. Essential Job Functions:

·      Deliver an outstanding customer experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service

·      Educate customers about our brand, mission, and product lines

·      Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise

·      Maintain a clean, visually appealing store environment

·      Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle returns or exchanges

·      Support inventory management and loss prevention efforts

·      Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions

·      Contribute to a positive and motivating work culture

Required Minimum Qualifications/Job Knowledge:

·      Retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·      Positive attitude and a team-first mindset

·      Passion for fitness, lifestyle apparel, or the Born Primitive brand is a plus

·      Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

·      Excellent and respectful communication with managers and co-workers

Position Requirements:

·     Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

·      Comfortable standing, bending, stooping, and walking for long periods of time

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to constant changes

·      Good communication skills and ability to work with a team

Physical Requirements:

Associates will be expected to constantly stand, bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and crouch as needed. Associates may travel on a voluntary basis.
