Commercial Product Value Engineer
Job Overview
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
This position is accountable for selling, engineering, design & support of Commercial products within the Branch. Responsibilities include job take-offs and technical assistance to Branch employees and customers as well as establishing and cultivating relationships with architects, engineers, developers, builders, National Accounts, and utilities. The focus is to grow value added Commercial sales particularly within the design build market channel.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Provides selling support through technical assistance to co-workers, customers and others who may influence the purchasing decision.
2. Provides technical assistance to influence favorable product specifications.
3. Assists with equipment & controls selection identifying value creation opportunities.
4. Conducts product training for internal Branch team, dealers and engineers.
5. Performs site visits, Joint calls with AM’s, take-offs and coordinates jobs for bid.
6. Calls on architects, engineers, builders, developers, utilities, and national accounts as directed by the Sales Manager.
7. Assists in managing inventory.
