Job Overview
- Own the architecture and DevOps of the AI platform on Databricks (Delta Lake, workflows, governance, environments)
- Design AI-ready data architecture optimized for LLM and agent use cases (low-latency retrieval, semantic layers, feature access)
- Lead implementation and scaling of Databricks Genie (or similar) for natural language → data interaction
- Build and deploy LLM-powered applications and agents that leverage enterprise data and systems
- Implement RAG pipelines end-to-end (data ingestion → embedding → retrieval → evaluation)
- Integrate enterprise systems (SAP, internal DBs, APIs) via connectors, MCP, and tool-calling interfaces
- Establish CI/CD, testing, and observability standards for both data + AI workloads
- Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of Databricks workloads and AI systems
- Collaborate with AI engineers and analysts to ensure scalable and production-ready AI use cases
