Job Overview

As a MEP Engineer, you make a difference by knowing exactly what the customer needs. As a MEP Engineer for technical installations/cables and pipelines, you will be involved in the design during the tender and execution phases for public lighting, cables, and pipelines.

In the design and realization of infrastructure projects like motorways, quay walls, bridges, tunnels, container terminals, berths, and jetties.

Specifically, this means that you prepare or assess lighting design and Cable designs and test these against the set requirements. The entire process is digitized, from design to monitoring progress during execution. You will use Civil3D, GIS, ACC, and Relatics software.

Your Responsibilities as a MEP Engineer (Technical Installation):

  • Analyse, advise, and support the consultant on issues concerning public lighting, cables, and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and develop the design of public lighting in the various phases of the project.
  • Prepare and develop route designs and relocation plans for cables and pipelines in the various project phases.
  • Support the control of the delivery files.

Your qualities:
You can make your mark as MEP Engineer (Technical Installation) if you have:

  • At least 5 years of work experience as an engineer in the field of public street lighting and cables and pipelines at a contractor, consultancy or engineering firm.
  • Specialist knowledge of Dialux EVO (lighting calculation program).
  • Knowledge of LED lighting and its installation.
  • Specialist knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D/GIS.
  • Extensive knowledge of cable calculation software.
