Fleet Traineeship - Offshore Energy Track

Job Overview

What you will be doing    
Over the course of 12 months, you will work on different assignments where you will assist Senior Engineers or Technical Superintendents, while taking responsibility for the tasks at hand and meeting  your deadlines. You will be expected to increase your knowledge and skills through active engagement with your colleagues and managers in various stages of diverse projects. Together we will shape the direction your career could take, paying attention to the areas in which you want to develop your skills and knowledge within the scope of your assignments.        

You will, together with your colleagues, supervise and manage project work, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery and you will be dealing with a range of vessels and other equipment from our offshore fleet. 

Where you will work 
In the Offshore Energy track, you will take part in projects involving offshore wind, cable and pipeline installation, and maritime construction.

​You will be involved in:​

  • Technical management of offshore vessels and installations.
  • Supervision of maintenance, repairs, and certification​.
  • Multidisciplinary projects involving  vessels, tools, and equipment​.
  • Ensuring operational readiness at challenging offshore locations​.

This track is perfect for you if you have a BSc or MSc degree in mechanical-, marine-, or electrical engineering and want to combine your technical skills with the energy transition. No prior work experience is required. 

  • Fully completed a secondary vocational level, BSc or MSc.
  • Maximum 2 years of work experience.
  • Entitled to work and already living in the Netherlands
  • Good command of spoken and written English. 
  • Willingness to work abroad.
