About the Total Portfolio Strategies Department and Your Role

In Total Portfolio Strategies, our goal is to shape our industry by building on Bridgewater’s deep understanding of the world to partner with clients on their holistic portfolio challenges, seeking to deliver innovative investment strategies that help achieve our clients’ most important goals. The Management Coordinator will be a key member of the organization, playing a critical role as the execution arm supporting a Senior Leader of the department, owning all administrative support functions to enable both internal and external-facing commitments. This includes time management and calendaring for the Senior Leader and other members of the team as directed. The Management Coordinator will frequently work in a cross-functional manner both internally and externally, driving cohesion and collaboration between teams as the connective tissue and drumbeat across the day-to-day and forward-looking orchestration. This role requires a highly organized person who can juggle multiple priorities smoothly with an emphasis on discretion, judgment, and exceptional communication skills. Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to thrive in dynamic, excellence-driven environments where the landscape is consistently changing and evolving through time.

You will drive the following responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality administrative support (both internal & external facing) to a department Senior Leader and other members of the team as directed, including owning calendar management, coordinating travel and submitting expenses
  • Partner directly with the Senior Leader to understand team goals and operationalize into functioning cadences
  • Ensure team and key stakeholders are prepared for all client interactions (i.e. presentations, prep notes, technology) 
  • Facilitate synchronization and communication across the team by tracking and reporting on status of key activities and keeping knowledge repositories up to date
  • Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently
  • Orchestrate and prioritize across long and short-term workstreams while maintaining high quality work
  • Collaborate excellently with other teams both within TPS and across the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or coordination capacity
  • Highly organized, can manage multiple projects/deliverables with close attention to detail
  • Effective and professional written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible, able to anticipate and adapt to changes or rapidly evolving situations and administrative needs
  • Capability with Microsoft operating systems and/or tools (MS Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience in financial services or start up environment is a plus, though not required 

Physical Requirements

This role will follow a hybrid schedule, with an onsite requirement of 4 days. Required on-site locations and schedules vary by team, but will either be based in Westport, NYC or involve some degree of alternating between campuses.

Compensation

The wage range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80% - 90% of this wage range.
