- Experience Range:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in delivery management, with proven expertise in project and program management within data engineering environments
- Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Manage end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope, quality, and budget
- 2. Develop and track Statements of Work (SOW), maintaining clear scope definitions and monitoring progress against deliverables
- 3. Forecast project revenue accurately and proactively manage project financials, including P&L oversight and budget control
- 4. Lead program management activities, coordinating multiple workstreams and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- 5. Analyze project performance metrics and generate actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize outcomes
- 6. Oversee people management tasks, including resource allocation, team development, and performance reviews
- 7. Identify, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues promptly, maintaining stakeholder confidence and minimizing disruptions
- 8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and successful delivery
- Required Skills:
- 1. Expertise in revenue forecasting for data engineering and analytics projects
- 2. Proficiency in SOW creation, scope tracking, and change management
- 3. Advanced skills in P&L management and financial reporting
- 4. Strong program management capabilities in technical delivery environments
- 5. Experience with project analytics and performance measurement tools
- 6. Escalation management in complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- 7. Resource planning and people management within technical teams
- 8. Familiarity with project management platforms such as Jira, MS Project, or similar
- 9. Knowledge of data engineering workflows and best practices
- 10. Ability to interpret and analyze project financials and metrics
- Preferred Skills:
- 1. Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- 2. Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
- 3. Experience in managing data engineering projects in large enterprise environments
- 4. Expertise in advanced project analytics and reporting tools
- 5. Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
- Desired Qualifications:
- 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field
