About the role
What the work is actually like (read this carefully):
- You'll be outside all day in cold, rain, and sometimes snow
- 10+ hour days, 6 days a week during peak season
- You'll be on ladders and roofs daily — if you're not comfortable at heights, this isn't the right fit
- The work is physical — climbing, carrying equipment, repetitive overhead work
- The season is compressed: ~3-4 months of intense work (potential for extended season)

Pay: $1,200$1,800/week depending on experience and role
Schedule: Full-time seasonal, training starts September 2026
Training: Provided — no prior Christmas lighting experience needed
What you'll do
- Install Christmas lighting on homes and commercial buildings
- Work on ladders (up to 32 ft), roofs, and occasionally in trees or on cherry pickers
- Hang, clip, and staple light strands along rooflines, trees, and structures
- Work in 2person crews serving residential clients
- Potential for takedown work through JanuaryFebruary (not guaranteed for all hires)
Qualifications
Who does well in this role:
- People who've finished a full season of physical outdoor work before (landscaping, roofing, painting, construction, tree trimming, guiding, wildfire crews)
- People comfortable with heights and changing weather
- People who show up on time and finish what they start
- People who work well on a 2person team with minimal supervision
