Property Management Assistant

Our client is seeking a Property Management Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties in the United States. This is a remote role based in Latin America, working closely with a U.S. property management team. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling tenant communications, vendor coordination, and administrative support to ensure smooth property operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with leasing, renewals, and tenant communications

  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling

  • Support recordkeeping and data entry in Yardi (or similar software)

  • Help prepare property-level reports and track expenses

  • Maintain compliance documentation and assist with audits

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the property management team

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in property management, leasing, or administrative support

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred

  • Proven experience with US affordable housing programs or related

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Yardi or other property management software preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

  • Ability to work U.S. business hours
