Job Description
We are looking for a Property Accountant who can also support operational and administrative tasks. The role involves managing the accounting and bookkeeping for approximately 300 properties while assisting with scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day operations. The estimated split is 60 percent accounting and 40 percent operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Handle bookkeeping and accounting for about 300 properties using AppFolio
Record transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports
Manage accounts payable, receivable, rent collection, and expense tracking
Maintain organized documentation and ensure accurate financial data
Coordinate communication with tenants, vendors, and internal staff
Support meeting and task scheduling, helping identify efficient scheduling tools
Assist the team in solving operational and administrative challenges
Must-have
Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping within property management or real estate
Proficiency in AppFolio (required)
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Full-time availability aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Nice-to-have
Experience with scheduling or calendar management tools such as Google Calendar, Calendly, or Microsoft Bookings
Familiarity with U.S. property management practices
Experience providing administrative or operational support
