Operations Analyst

Location: Monterrey, Mexico (Hybrid)

Our client, a rapidly growing WealthTech / SaaS company, is seeking a hands-on Billing Operations Analyst to take direct ownership of invoicing and billing execution across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance operations, systems, and client delivery, ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable billing processes in a complex, technology-driven environment.

This is an execution-first role, ideal for someone who has worked directly in billing systems, owned invoice generation end-to-end, and understands how contracts, pricing, and services translate into accurate client billing.

Key Responsibilities

Billing Execution & Ownership

• Own the end-to-end invoice generation process, including billing runs, adjustments, credits, and re-bills.

• Ensure invoices are accurate, compliant with contract terms, and delivered on time.

Billing Systems & Data

• Operate and maintain billing platforms, ensuring data integrity across billing, CRM, and financial systems.

• Partner with Engineering and Finance to troubleshoot billing issues and system discrepancies.

Contract-to-Bill Alignment

• Interpret contracts, pricing schedules, and statements of work to ensure correct billing logic.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies between contracts, services delivered, and invoices issued.

Issue Resolution & Client Support

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, client inquiries, and payment-related issues.

• Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams on billing-related questions.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

• Support automation initiatives and enhancements to billing workflows and controls.

Reporting & Controls

• Track invoice status, billing metrics, and outstanding balances.

• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements related to billing operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on billing, invoicing, or revenue operations experience, preferably in SaaS, FinTech, or WealthTech.

• Direct experience owning invoice generation within a billing or financial operations system.

• Strong understanding of contract-based billing, usage-based billing, or professional services billing.

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).

• Experience working with billing platforms, ERPs, CRMs, or subscription management tools.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data with accuracy.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with SaaS billing models (subscription, usage-based, hybrid).

• Exposure to CLM tools, revenue recognition processes, or order-to-cash workflows.

• Experience supporting audits or SOX-related controls.

• SQL or BI tool exposure for billing analysis and reporting.
