ABOUT THE POSITION
Maintenance Technician at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: you will ensure that BURGA’s production equipment operates smoothly and reliably while supporting efficient manufacturing processes that meet the highest quality standards. Your work will play a key role in minimizing downtime, maintaining operational excellence, and helping BURGA deliver exceptional products to customers worldwide.
WORK SCHEDULE
- From June 1 to July 31: rotating 12-hour shifts (no night shifts).
- From August 1: rotating 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of production equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and commission new machinery and equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory and monitor stock levels to support maintenance activities.
- Work with the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track maintenance tasks and equipment performance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
- Continuously improve existing equipment to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
- Maintain and monitor facility compressed air systems.
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the automated packaging line.
- Carry out additional tasks and projects assigned by the Technical Manager.- 2+ years of experience in a similar maintenance or technical role.
- A responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing situations.
- A technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Solid computer skills and experience working with technical systems and software.
- A valid Category B driver’s license.
- A passion for manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and maintaining high operational standards.
- A proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the reliability and efficiency of production equipment.
