Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Lead procurement of high-value, complex, and strategic equipment and service packages.
· Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project and operational goals.
· Manage full tender processes including RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, negotiations, and award recommendations.
· Conduct advanced cost analysis , including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) / Life Cycle Costing (LCC), to support strategic decisions.
· Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and performance evaluations.
· Administer PO variations, claims, and close-out activities.
· Serve as senior procurement representative in cross-functional project teams and external audits.
· Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 purchasers.
· Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and procurement system enhancements.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Lead.
Requirements
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or related field.
· Sufficient relevant experience may replace educational requirements.
· Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are preferred.
Experience
· Minimum 7–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
· Experience with ERP systems; IFS experience preferred.
· Multi-cultural and offshore project experience preferred.
Interpersonal Skills
· Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Ability to mentor others and lead cross-functional teams.
· High attention to detail and strategic thinking.
Knowledge
· Expert understanding of procurement principles, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
· Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and inventory functions.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
· Knowledge of offshore and FPSO project procurement is a plus.
· Fluent in English (oral and written).
